The project implementation will be carried out by a service platform – the “private sector support platform” – which includes the vocational school, workshops, workbenches and five service units (see figure above).

This platform is housed in an industrial building built in steel and concrete with an area of 500 m2. Most new businesses will be located near that industrial building, so they can easily use all the resources and technologies of the platform.

The “Equipment sharing unit” consists of two workshops, two workbenches, two plants for the processing of agro-forestry products, and many other equipment, including office equipment, the truck-mounted crane, the truck and the pickups.

Equipment and infrastructure of the technology park will be shared with the new companies to its industrial activities, regardless of whether they have their own facilities. For example, the carpentry workshop will be shared with the new carpenters, the machinery of the coconut processing factory will be used by the enterprises of coconut processing industry. Moreover, the transport of goods and raw materials will be the responsibility of the platform that has two pickups, a truck and a truck-mounted crane.

Whenever possible, the equipment necessary for the operation of the new companies will be built in the workshops of the school. The new companies will provide mutual assistance, exchange of services and assistance to start-ups.

The “Technical support unit” will help start-ups by providing them with technical support and equipment for the construction and maintenance of infrastructure, training and support for improvement of productive activities.

The “Financial support unit” will be responsible for financing the construction of infrastructure, the acquisition of industrial equipment and tools and the acquisition of the first raw materials needed to start the business. It will be the responsibility of this unit to support regional trade and export, in close collaboration with the Business Unit.

The “Business support unit” will work closely with the government to ensure the safety of foreign trade and payment of taxes due. Moreover, it will support new businesses in accounting and management and marketing and sales.

The “R & D unit” will be important for research and development of new ideas and projects and to the continuous improvement of business.

Young entrepreneurs, boys and girls, will be trained and supported to create qualified companies for the production and marketing of tradable goods with added value whenever possible, or to the provision of essential services to the community.

The “Vocational School” will be equipped with two workshops, two workbenches, three agro-forestry processing industry units and many other essential equipment and tools required for the training of future entrepreneurs. Twenty two courses are designed to provide training and education in thirty different business areas: ten in the area of activities and basic services, and twenty in the agro-industry. Priority will be given to the creation of companies producing tradable goods with added value, for those who contribute to food security and targeted to the regional trade and export. Many of these courses are specific to girls.

In order to stimulate the competitiveness between firms, it will be created more than one company in each business area, whenever possible.

The organizational chart shows the dynamic relationship between the vocational school, the creation of firms and new jobs, and the flourish of a private sector to drive the regional economic and social development.
